Right let me try this again, I re-did this whole page on Tuesday and then the machine crashed and I lost it all(in more ways than one) Sorry to all those whole have visited and been disappointed by this page.
So here we go... Quite why I have to write a page about myself I am not sure but the Guru's say that it inspires confidence in the consumer when they know what the story behind it all is. I will try and keep it short and sweet as I don't really need you reading this stuff when you should be out buying my product!
As you may already know it all started in August 2007 after returning to the UK from my mother's funeral. I decided to get some home comforts from my favorite South African shop, the No1 South African shop based in Christchurch,Dorset. After stocking up with the usual Biltong, Corn curls and cream soda, I mentioned that I was going home to make the best treat of all -"Koeksisters". The shop owners ears pricked up and she asked if I would consider supplying her shop? I looked into all the legalities and licenses that I would need and got started. After a couple of months word had spread, I had put up a little webpage and word of mouth did the rest and I found I was supplying 7 shops with Koeksisters. As I was still working full time this was beginning to cause a problem, never mind having a four year old too! So in february 2008 I stopped working for other people and decided to bake full time instead, I launched a further 3 products being the Milktarts, Fudge and Banana bread, and as far as I am concerned this was the best move ever!
With summer approaching (at a snails pace) I hope that you will all be able to get your hands on the old time favorites. If your favorite SA shop doesn't stock them just let me know and I will get in touch. Also if there are any other baked goodies that you just have to have send me an email and I will see what is possible, you never know it may just be the next best thing.
Take care and above all, Enjoy.
